PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) again held the Honda motorcycles modification contest Otocontest (HOCS) 2011 as a venue for the distribution of interests and hobbies of young people who want to reflect your lifestyle and identity.HOCS 2011 exhibition is the third modification of Honda motorcycles since first held in 2009. This year, AHM hold this activity in 12 major cities in Indonesia, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Palembang, Tulungagung, Denpasar, Medan, Surabaya, Banjarmasin, Yogyakarta, Kediri, Jember, and Surabaya. Number of cities has increased compared to the operation of the previous year which is only held in 10 cities. Of the 12 cities organizing this year 1415 recorded the motor modifications participate.
Honda motorcycles modification contest is held with the opening 13 ie Beginners Class, Matic Custom, Racing Matic, Matic Funky, Custom Duck, Duck Funky, Extreme, Racing look, non Fairing Sport, Sport Fairing, Body Transfer, Accessories, and Sport Funky.
HOCS peak this year (Final Battle) implemented in Kenjeran Park, Surabaya on December 4, 2011 that coincide with the implementation of the final series of the Honda Racing Championship (HRC 2011). Participants Final Battle is the 1 place in each class from each city will be selected & 3 winners to be crowned as The King Extreme., The King Non-Extreme, and The King of Fashion.
"The winner and its modifier, but will be invited to witness the event Bangkok International Motorshow 2012, they will be given the opportunity to participate in the Honda Modification Contest in Bangkok International Motorshow 2012 to fight with the modifier-modifier in there," said General Manager of Marketing Planning and Analysis Division AHM Indraputra Augustine.
Indraputra states other than the dealer is expected to be an excellent young talents and hobbies, HOCS is expected to reinforce the image that Honda is the bike that young people easily modified so that gives pride to its owners.
Activity modification is expected to provoke creativity of young people who are not directly be used as one of the considerations about the motor the current trend of modification trends.
